Service description

File Transcribe converts uploaded audio and video into editable text transcripts. Features vary by plan, see our Pricing page.

Acceptable use

• Upload only content you have the right to transcribe.
• Do not upload illegal, harmful, or abusive material.
• Do not attempt to bypass usage limits or abuse the API.
• Do not reverse-engineer or resell the service without permission.

Accounts and plans

Guest users may transcribe without an account subject to guest limits. Free and Pro accounts require sign-in. Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Paddle. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.

Accuracy disclaimer

Transcription is automated. We do not guarantee 100% accuracy. Review transcripts before relying on them for legal, medical, or financial decisions.

Intellectual property

You retain ownership of your uploaded files and generated transcripts. You grant us a limited license to process your files solely to provide the transcription service.

Limitation of liability

File Transcribe is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms. You may stop using the service at any time and cancel Pro subscriptions from billing settings.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
