• Uploaded files — audio or video you submit for transcription.
• Transcripts — text generated from your files, including timestamps and speaker labels when enabled.
• Account information — if you sign in: email address and profile name from Google or your login provider.
• Usage data — daily upload counts and file metadata (size, duration, language) to enforce plan limits.
• Technical logs — basic server logs (IP address, browser type, error reports) for security and reliability.

How we use your data

• To transcribe your files and display results in the editor.
• To save transcripts in your library when you are signed in.
• To enforce free and paid plan limits.
• To process Pro subscriptions via our payment provider (Paddle).
• To improve reliability and prevent abuse.

Third-party services

We use trusted providers to run the service: Supabase (authentication, database, file storage), Vercel (hosting), and a speech-to-text API for transcription processing. These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms.

Retention and deletion

• Guest uploads: files and transcripts deleted after 24 hours.
• Free accounts: retained up to 7 days unless you delete sooner.
• Pro accounts: retained up to 30 days unless you delete sooner.
• You can delete individual transcripts from your dashboard or empty trash permanently.
