Retention and library storage
How long transcripts and audio are kept depends on your plan.
Retention by plan

After retention expires, files are removed automatically. Export anything you need to keep (TXT, SRT, VTT, or PDF on Pro+).
Trash
Deleted transcripts move to Trash in the dashboard before permanent removal. Restore from trash while still within your retention window.
Duplicate detection
If you upload the same file again, we may offer to open the existing transcript instead of re-processing.
