Choosing a language

In the upload modal, pick a language from the dropdown or leave Auto-detect.

Auto-detect works well for single-language recordings. If results look wrong, set the language explicitly and re-transcribe.

Translation (Pro)

After transcription, Pro users can translate to another language from the editor and view bilingual output.

Translation is separate from transcription language — transcribe first, then translate.
