Languages and auto-detect
Transcribe in many languages with Auto-detect; Pro can translate into 30+ languages with bilingual view.
Choosing a language
In the upload modal, pick a language from the dropdown or leave Auto-detect.
Auto-detect works well for single-language recordings. If results look wrong, set the language explicitly and re-transcribe.
Transcription languages
We support a wide set of spoken languages for transcription (English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and many more). If your language is missing from the list, request it on feedback.
Translation (Pro)
After transcription, Pro users can translate a saved transcript into 30+ languages and view bilingual output side by side.
Translation is separate from transcription language: transcribe first, then translate in the editor.
Summaries in your language
Pro AI summaries can generate in the transcript’s language, not English only.
