Subtitles in the sidebar

Subtitles now has its own place in the app.

Where to open them

• Subtitles sits under Library in the sidebar
• Home has a Subtitles shortcut
• Ready files in Library and on Home link straight to the caption editor

Choose a ready recording and edit its captions. Opening that editor uses the transcript you already have. It does not start another transcription.

File actions

Home, Library, and Subtitles share one menu:

• Open the transcript or the subtitles
• Export and translate
• Copy a private link
• Rename, add tags, and move to a folder
• Retry a failed file
• Move to trash

A copied link stays private. Someone else still needs access to their own account to open the file.
