Welcome email when you actually start using the app
New accounts get a welcome message on first real login, not only at signup, so you still get the intro if you signed up and came back later.
Some people create an account and open the dashboard days later. The welcome email used to fire only at signup, so late starters never got it.
What changed
If you have not been welcomed yet, the first login after signup sends the intro. You will not get duplicates.
Owner alerts still fire for brand-new signups so we can help if something looks stuck.
Under the hood
Admin tooling can page through recent signups when we need to catch up welcome status. That is ops-only; your inbox just gets one clear hello.
